The Democratic Party Presidential Candidate Nobert Mao has pledged to end what he called the rule of the gun in Uganda and recover all stolen assets of the Country if elected President of Uganda.

While addressing supporters at Arua Primary School playgrounds last evening, Mao, who is on his Presidential campaign said Uganda is still nursing wounds from the gun rule and needs healing through the ballot.

According to Mao, DP is ready to reconcile the country by establishing a civilian rule and empowering the citizens by setting up Assets Recovery Tribunal to which they will report issues concerning individual and national assets.

Some of the supporters and people of Arua have commended Mao for speaking the truth and giving them hope of reclaiming their future from the 35 years of NRM rule.

Norbert Mao is the 10th presidential candidate to campaign in West Nile, leaving Gen. Mugisha Muntu of Alliance for National Transformation as the only candidate left to campaign in the region.
