Speaking to our reporter Mbarara District Health Officer Dr Peter Sebutinde, said such people need to have spent six months after recovery for them to be vaccinated.

Sebutinde said this as the district started the vaccination for health workers in both Mbarara city and District local government.

Sebutinde warned health workers against abandoning standard operating procedures noting that being vaccinated shall not prevent them from getting infected from the deadly virus.

He encouraged the general public to avoid the lots of myths about the drug but ensure voluntary participation in the vaccination exercise for their good.
