The Mbarara District woman Member of Parliament Margret Ayabare Rwebyambu has urged people of Mbarara to always for medical checkup as early as possible to avoid non-communicable diseases like Pressure, Diabetes and cancer among others.
During an exclusive Interview with our reporter, Rwebyambu said death related to noncommunicable diseases are increasing within the community attributing it to people who fail to go for early medical checkups.
She says some people fear to go for medical checkup due to fear of being discriminated against by their colleagues after being found positive of such noncommunicable diseases.
Rwebyambu further reveals that the Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Health is to upgrade Kagongi HC3 in Kashari North and Bubare HC3 in Kashari South to health centre fours which will bring close improved health services.
