The Isingiro South legislature Alex Bakunda has trashed reports circulating on social media connecting him with the scuffle between the Ambulance driver and Mbarara regional referral security guard.
According to reports circulating on social media, Bakunda ordered his men to break into the Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital Mortuary and snatch a body which he refutes.

Bakunda explains that Amos Tukasingura the driver of ambulance reg. no. UBE 129S which he donated to the constituency was the one who got involved in a scuffle of the security guard called John Okello after he forcefully took a way a body of her sister who had died from the hospital.
He adds that after the incident, Okello reported to police and the police started investigating the matter and subsequently Tukasingura was arrested.
The Isingiro South legislator says that with assistance of police, he only intervened as a leader to bring Okello and Tukasingiura on table so that they can sort out the matter amicably which was done.
He says that those involving his name in such false reports are his political opponents with ill political agendas for the people of Isingiro district.
