Residents of Kitagwenda District whose wives and daughters were taken to Saudi Arabia under the area Member of Parliament initiative have hailed him for the program which has changed their lives economically.
About a year ago, Nulu Joseph Byamukama helped 253 females from Kitagwenda District to go to Saudi Arabia for work with the aim of eradicating poverty in the District and according to reports they are all doing well.
Now speaking to our reporter, the residents who benefited from the initiative said this has helped their family to develop as those who went send money which they have used for development activities.
Ahebwa Methodius Magezi from Kicwamba South whose his wife went to Saudi Arabia in the first bunch says her wife sends her money every month and this has helped him to take his children into good schools, buying more lands and he is now constructing a house.
Tumuhimbise Robert another person from Kashushano told our reporter that his wife also went in the first bunch and as of now his family is steadily developing hail the area legislator Joseph Nulu Byamukama.
In his remarks, Nulu Joseph Byamukama said that his mission is to lift the living standards among the families in Kitagwenda District.
Byamukama revealed that other over 330 ladies are also set to board to Saudi Arabia in the second cohort.
