Following the recent threats of terrorism, the joint security task team will be providing guidelines on every gathering attracting masses within the Kampala Metropolitan area.
According to Anderson Burora, the deputy Resident City Commissioner (RCC) of Rubaga Division, after six improvised explosive devices were discovered in different parts of the city, security must approve all gatherings.
He observed that the country has been on high alert after the suspected Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) attackers raided a School in Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council Kasese district, killing 39 and over 10 are still nursing wounds.
As schools near reopening for the third term, he called upon administrators and staff to be vigilant to avoid miscreants that may plan to cause havoc.
His response comes after allegations of divisive language used by the president of National Unity Platform (NUP) Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, during a recent visit to the Luwero district where he fumed that the government wants to kill him and called the Buganda ethnic group to fight for their lands as few people have dominated their land
Burora said his speech was full of hatred and fueling tribal tensions.
