RWAMPARA POLICE ARRESTS 18 YEAR OLD MAN OVER MURDER

Police in Rwampara District is holding Joash Mucunguzi 18 years a resident of Kikonkoma II cell Kikonkoma ward Mwizi Kabura Town Council in Rwampara allegedly for the murder of Moses Tuhirwe 48years of the same residence.

According to Samson Kasasira the Rwizi Regional police spokesperson, on Monday around 11:00pm in Kikonkoma trading center the deceased was involved in a fight with the key suspect where they were separated by one Benda Christopher which annoyed Mucunguzi and he turned to him but he ran away.

The suspect together with his friends decided to follow him up to his home where they failed to find him and on their way back to trading center they met the deceased going back home beat him to death then dragged the body and damped it in a banana plantation where it was found lying in a pool of blood with multiple injuries yesterday.

Kasasira added that a postmortem was carried out at the scene of crime and inquiries are still ongoing.
