President Museveni has today visited his private farm for the first time in a period of six months.

According to the Presidential Press Secretary, Linda Nabusayi, the president today morning left for his private farm in Kisozi, Gomba district.

Nabusayi said in a post on social media that the President Yoweri Museveni and part of his family have left for their farm in Kisozi, Gomba District, adding that the President and family underwent covid19 tests before boarding the Presidential Chopper to Gomba district.

This is the first time the President is heading to his farm since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic early this year.

Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, Museveni has been strict about adherence to measures aimed at controlling the spread of Coronavirus starting with himself and other members of the public.

Meanwhile, the Police impounded 211 vehicles and 331 motorcycles in an operation to reinvigorate anti COVID-19 enforcement on curfew hours last night.

According to the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango, the operation was peaceful and was carried out in an orderly manner.

Onyango noted that some drivers were cautioned while others were issued with Express Penalty Scheme tickets.

He further appealed to the general public to plan their journeys early to avoid being caught on the wrong side of the law.
