The police have vowed not to allow any rallies or procession by any group during the ongoing presidential campaigns.

Addressing the media after an engagement with some presidential candidates and their agents, the police director operation Edward Ochom said they have a duty to maintain law and order and ensure that the set campaign guidelines must be followed.

He said political players must ensure they observe the set guidelines to avoid clashes with the security forces further defending the use of teargas, arguing that it has several other options which can be used if the players remain adamant.
