The Resident District Commissioner Mbarara Godfrey Mbetegyerize has directed the chairperson LCIII and the entire political heads of Rubaya sub-county to arrest whoever defies the measures that were put in place by the government in fighting against foot and mouth disease.
RDC Mbetegyerize noted that he received reports from locals in Rubaya sub-county that there are untouchable people in the sub county who have continued to defy the measures put in place against the spread of the disease by allowing free movements of all animal products.
He noted that no one who is above the law’s arrest should be made to those big headed ones to act as examples to others.
