The Ntungamo resident district commissioner David Kaboyo has expressed disappointment over property fights by offsprings of some families saying some are even fighting over properties while their parents are still alive, calling for proper will writing by parents.
Speaking during a function introducing the MTN share sell at Ankole resort hotel and spur in Ntungamo town yesterday, Kaboyo said his office is resolving cases in which some children are chasing parents from properties over greed to own such even when they are still living, an issue that is embarrassing to the community.
He said such can only be resolved by proper will writing in preparation for death as fighting for properties given by will of the dead may be complicated.
He encouraged individuals to secure shares in multinational companies as they can be trusted in handling transition after death of owners.
Kaboyo further commended MTN for utilizing the peacefulness in the country to increase investment.
The MTN chief finance officer Andrew Bugembe said the MTN shares were a great opportunity to businessmen and Ugandans as they project to increase business phone, calling and Data business in the country by over 100% in the coming few years.
