20 APPOINTED PRINCIPAL GRADE ONE MIGISTRATES

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has appointed 20 Principal Grade One Magistrates in acting capacity to bring services closer to the people.

Maria Theresa Nabulya, the communications officer of the JSC, in a press statement released last evening, said the appointment is part of the ongoing recruitment program to fill vacant positions in the magisterial category of the Judiciary.

The promoted officers include Elijah Iradukunda, Ronald Nsobya Kamya, MPaul Mujuni, Taddeo Muinda, Evelyn Setrina Kyomugisha, Isaac Rukundo, Michael Bbosa, Rophine Achayo, Christopher Opit, Adam Byarugaba, and Solomon Okem. 

Others are Peter Mutala, Allan Nyakaana, MGrace Wakooli, Julius Mutabazi, Nicholas Aisu, Sheila Gloia Atim, Swaleh Asiku, Benedict Nsibambi Lwanga and Ms Sanula Nambozo.

The appointment of the officials brings the number of Principal Grade One Magistrates to 22 although the approved expanded structure is 50.
