The operation of Bukiro sub County in Mbarara district is hanging in balance after the ministry of finance failed to provide an operational budget since the separation from the town council.
Bukiiro Sub County remained after the creation of Bukiiro Town Council but most of the property remained in the town council.
Innocent Baguma the Chairperson Bukiiro Sub County said that they were promised by the ministry of local government start up fund of shs 57millions but as of now they are operating in dire situation.
Baguma notes that currently Bukiiro Sub County has no headquarter structures even the council hall, as they hold council sittings under tree.
