Residents in Rugarama parish in Ntara Sub County and Ntara ward in Kitagwenda Town council have been asked to embrace communal work on their access roads and bridges.
The call was made by the woman member of parliament Dorothy Nyakato Nzibonera during a communal work on a 4 kilometer road and access bridge that connects Rugarama parish and Ntara ward.
Moses Kato the Ntara ward male councilor, before the new leadership 2021, the access road used to be maintained by the community however they were promised that it would be put in the budget and be worked on by the government which has never been fulfilled.
The Kitagwenda town council secretary for works, Vincent Byamukama said the access road will be considered into the budget
Residents commended the leaders led by the woman member of Parliament, Dorothy Nyakato Nzibonera for responding to their outcry.
