KITAGWENDA DISTRICT STARTS WORK ON ROADS IN POOR STATE

The Kitagwenda District has started working on some of the roads that are in sorry state after borrowing road equipment from Mother District Kamwenge.

Speaking to our reporter, Ismail Mushemeza the District chairperson revealed that currently they are working on the Ahakikona-kyabatimbo Via Ihunga to katooma road.

He says soon they are starting on a 13km Kicwamba –Rwesigiire-Nyabbani road.

The district boss further revealed that all district roads will be worked on in the next financial year since they expect about one Billion shillings from central Government specifically to work on roads.
