President Yoweri Museveni has re-appointed Brig. Gen. Freeman Robert Mugabe as General Court Martial chairperson.
Mugabe’s one-year term of office had last week expired having been appointed last year.
He chairs a seven-member committee of the army handling various cases brought before them.
Other committee members appointed are Col. Joseph Ecelare, Lt. Col. Sam Ntugura, Maj. Angella Catherine Laker, Capt. Lucy Nicole Etorol, Capt. Abou Basajjabalaba, W01 Oyar Boris Mark and Col Benard Mugwesigire.
These will be assisted by Col Emmanuel David Muhanguzi, Col. David Ociiti Kidega, Lt. Col. Patrick Matovu, Lt. Col. Sabasitiano Bbosa, Lt. Col. David Baguma, Maj. Stephen Etumidde, Maj Cyprian Sande Magezi, Maj Jubilee Omax Denis, Capt. Grace Mababazi and Capt. Christine Sayuni as reserve member.
Col. Richard Tukachungura has also bounced as the court judge advocate.
The team now awaits swearing-in to start the work.
