A 37YR OLD MAN KILLS HIS TWIN SISTER OVER FOOD IN BUSHENYI

Police in Sheema have detained a 37-year-old man for assaulting his twin sister over food which resulted into her death.

The suspect identified as Isaac Muhangi is a resident of Bubare cell Kyabandara ward Sheema Central Division in the Sheema District.

According to the police statement, on the 5th April 2023 at around 02:00pm, the suspect assaulted his twin sister Spacious Komuhangi with his walking stick on the ground that she refused to prepare food for him.

It is said that on the same day, she reported a case of assault to Kyabandara police post and was referred for treatment at Kabwohe health centre IV who later referred her to Mbarara referral on 15th of this month.

Martial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson told our reporter that it was unfortunate that the sister couldn’t make it and was pronounced dead on Sunday.

Tumusiime added that the suspect Muhangi is already behind bars to assist with investigations.
