A 45-year-old man in Luwero District has succumbed to injuries he sustained during a fight in a bar.
The deceased has been identified as Ronald Mutebi, a resident of Wabusana trading center in Kikyusa sub-county.
Robert Wasswa the LCI Chairperson of Wabusana village says that on Monday, Mutebi developed a misunderstanding with James Miiro at Maaso Bar resulting in a fight.
Wasswa explains that Miiro allegedly hit Mutebi with a stick on the head and collapsed in the compound.
Wasswa adds that Mutebi was rushed to Wabusana Health Center III for treatment but he succumbed to injuries.
Isah Ssemwogerere the Savannah Regional Police Spokesperson says that Police at Kikyusa town council have arrested Miiro over the incident.
Ssemwogerere adds that the body has also been transferred to Luwero hospital for postmortem as investigations into the matter go on.
The revelers and the owner of the bar identified as Christine Nalugo have since gone into hiding over fears that Police may arrest them over the incident.
