Kamwenge district local government has commissioned four classroom blocks and five stance latrines at Rwebikwato primary school in Kahunge sub-county Kamwenge district.

The classroom block and toilet worth over 460million was constructed with support from the government of Japan by the lobbying of Brother Denis Katusiime through Kamwenge district local government.

Kitamura Yoshinori the head of economic cooperation in Japan to Uganda’s Embassy was the chief guest at the function to commission the project yesterday.

He challenged the school community to maintain and positively utilize the project for future generations.

Despite the donation, Mulinde Apollo the district education officer for Kamwenge and Bamanya Tadeo the head teacher for Rwebikwato primary school further asked for more support as there are still more that is needed.
