Residents in Kashongi Constituency in Kiruhura District have been urged to always harvest rainy water as the government is working around the clock to extend good water for domestic use to some parts of the constituency.
The call was made by the Kashongi constituency member of Parliament Herbert Tayebwa while in an interview with our reporter.
Recently District authorities in Kiruhura commissioned the water supply in Kitura Sub County, Kashongi constituency Kiruhura district.
However, Tayebwa says that though the Government is planning to extend water to all parts of Kashongi, people should also harvest rainwater for domestic use.
