IBANDA DISTRICT RESUMES COVID19 VACCINATION AFTER RECEIVING OVER 1800 DOSES

Ibanda district is set to resume covid19 vaccination after receiving over 1800 doses of the vaccine.

This was revealed by the District Health Officer Dr. Julius Bamwine who confirmed the receipt of the vaccine.

Speaking to our reporter, Dr. Julius Bamwine said that the Vaccination exercise will begin on tomorrow Wednesday with teachers, the elderly and security to get the first priority.

Dr Julius Bamwine clarified that some will be getting their first Jab while others will be getting the second.

The Ibanda South Member of Parliament Dr Ninkusiima John Paul has called upon all people in Ibanda South to embrace the exercise for better health.

Dr Ninkusiima John Paul further asked the public to continue observing the standard operating procedures against COVID 19.
