MBARARA DISTRICT COMMERCIAL OFFICER ON SPOT FOR ALTERING EMYOOGA FUNDS GUIDLINES

Legislators hailing from Mbarara district have threatened to arrest District Commercial officer Geogfrey Mutebi over forgeries in emyooga program.

Mps Nathan Itungo of Kashari south, Basil Bataringaya for North and Margaret Rwebyambu woman district Legislator made the remarks while they were monitoring the Emyooga Sacco’s in the area as they were directed by the deputy speaker of parliament Anita Among.

Legislators noted that some of Emyooga funds guidelines were changed and duplicated to fit their interests which they blame to the commercial officer.

Basil Bataringaya the Member of Parliament kashari north promised the beneficiaries that they are going to work as a team to fight corruption and deal with those who were demanding money from the beneficiaries as a condition before accessing the money.
