Outgoing political leaders have been challenged to always hand over to their predecessors such that they can know where to begin once they take over the office.
This call was made by the outgoing chairperson Mbarara district Major JB Tumusiime Bamuturaki yesterday as he handed over instruments of power to Chief Administrative Officers as the law stipulates.
Major Tumusiime noted that this is one way of showing accountability to the public and guiding the predecessor on where to start from in terms of development.
He encouraged politicians to desist from conflicts and wrangles as they are non developmental.
