President Yoweri Museveni has held private talks with Uhuru Kenyatta, the former President of Kenya.
Priority on agenda, sources said the two leaders discussed the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Uhuru is the Facilitator of the East African Community (EAC) – led Nairobi Peace Process for the region.
In a State House press release, it indicated that the two leaders discussed updates from DR Congo.
A post on Museveni’s social sites, the president said he met the Facilitator of the EAC-led Nairobi Peace Process, H.E. President (Rtd) Uhuru Kenyatta to discuss the regional mandate alongside recent developments in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
