President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is today at 8:00pm expected to deliver his end-of-year address to the nation.

The address, announced by the Presidential Press Unit (PPU), is expected to touch on the government’s achievements, challenges, and plans for the coming year.

As Commander-in-Chief of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF), the President is also expected to touch on matters of national security and other key issues affecting the country.

Meanwhile President Museveni yesterday, received a special message from Mohamed Al-Menfi, the President of the Presidential Council of Libya.

The message was delivered by Dr Khaled Kaim, the senior political advisor to the Libyan President, during a meeting held at Museveni’s country home in Rwakitura.

In addition to conveying the message, Dr Kaim and President Museveni discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation between Uganda and Libya.

The talks centred on trade, investment, and other mutual interests aimed at strengthening the longstanding ties between the two nations.
