SEVEN MBARARA DISTRICT LAND TITLES MISSING, FORMER CAO ON THE SPOT

The former Mbarara district chief administrative officer Edward Kasagara is on spot over seven missing district land titles.
This was revealed by the Public Accounts Committee Mbarara district led by Herbert Kamugisha yesterday as the scrutinised the Internal Auditor’s report.
Kamugisha said the 7 land titles were stolen by previous leadership and they resolved to arrest Kasagara for handing over photocopies instead of original land titles.

In the same committee they found out that the district land where Kashari County headquarters sits in Bwizibwera was encroached by former chairman Fred Ibabaza Kamugira and they resolved to look for the original land tittle.

David Muhwezi the district Chief Administrative Officer applauded the committee for their quick response on issues raised by the district internal auditor for better service delivery.
