Police in Kazo are hunting for a man suspected to have poisoned dead a 2yr step son.
The suspect identified as Edward Twikirize is suspected to have poisoned Daniel Turyasingura who is a step son as the mother left him in his custody.
The Incident happened in Kitamba village, Kitamba ward in Buremba town council.
It’s alleged that yesterday Catherine Tushabe left her 2yr old boy Turyasingura in bed sleeping together with the husband Twikirize as she went to the garden and as she returned she found a strange smell of animal spraying acarricide.
Tushabe then rushed to check on her son who unfortunately found him already dead in bed while the husband was nowhere to be seen.
According to Samson Kasasira the Rwizi region police spokesperson the matter was reported at Buremba police station and the officers visited the scene, took the body to Kazo health centre for postmortem.
Kasasira says they are now hunting for Twikirize to help in investigations.
