According to information obtained by Endigyito radio on October 8th at around 10 PM, a group of four marine policemen attached to Kanara detach in Ntoroko district went on patrol on the lake.

However the following day, officers at the detach received a tip off from a UPDF intelligence officer in Kagadi district informing them that their four colleagues had been attacked by members suspected to be of a militia group from Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Police spokesperson revealed that the other two officers, Namunyu and Mulyamboli are still missing together with the Police patrol boat and four rifles.
