The 2023 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations enter day two with calls on candidates to arrive at exam centres on time.
Jennifer Kalule, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) spokesperson says candidates must arrive at least thirty minutes before the start of the examinations, or not later than 15 minutes after the starting time.
This is after one candidate in Iganga district yesterday missed the History paper due to coming late.
Kalule notes that there were a few reports of invigilators who arrived late for the examination in the morning, mainly due to a heavy downpour that disrupted the delivery of examination materials to some centres.
Kalule also urged invigilators to keep time as well.
Today, the arts candidates will write Economics Paper 1 and 2, while the science candidates will write Chemistry Paper 3 (practical).
