The vice chairperson Mbarara district Juliet Nabakoza has asked the women to get involved in the government programs as one way of elevating them from poverty.
Nabakoza who is also the councilor representing Bwizibwera-Rutooma town council noted that Uganda women entrepreneurship program is still active.
She revealed that in Mbarara district some groups have already started receiving the funding calling up on those who haven’t to get involved in the program.
