The Kitagwenda Town council Mayor Patrick Turyamureeba has called upon councilors in the Town council to team up with technocrats in collecting local taxes if the development of the Town council is to be realistic.
Patrick Turyamureeba made the remarks during an exclusive interview with our reporter where he said that currently the local revenue collection in the town council is still low hence called upon all councilors, the business community and well-wishers to join hands with technocrats in
collecting taxes.
Turyamureba says that the town council depends on revenue collection to deliver services.
He further said that there is a need for local investors to work hand in hand with Town council leaders in developing Tourism sites in the Town council, citing the equator line among others.
