The state Minister for Finance Haruna Kasolo kyeyune has given a three days ultimatum to all Emyoga Sacco leaders in Mitooma district who used their position to take money not corresponding to their savings to pay or else be jailed.

Kasolo made the directive while meeting all Emyoga Sacco leaders of Ruhinda, Ruhinda South and Ruhinda North counties that make up Mitooma district that was held at county headquarters of the three counties.

He noted that there are many cases of leaders whom he didn’t want to expose at the moment who used positions to borrow the amount of money they wanted and some could only borrow money from family members which he said must stop and pay back the money in three days or be arrested.

He further asked all defaulters who are not leaders to also pay with immediate effect or else they face shame over radio and television broadcast and those who will be resistant will also be arrested.
