DON’T BE USED TO COMMIT CRIMES BY POLITICIANS, MBARARA RDC WARNS BODABODA RIDERS AHEAD OF POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS

The RDC Mbarara Col James Mwesigye has cautioned the boda-boda community and the entire population to desist from convoys of the aspiring candidates.

RDC made the call during the launch of Kashari north boda-boda association campaign for Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and all NRM flag bears come 2021 general elections held at Nahirwa Minni garden in Kagogi sub-county Kashari north Mbarara district.

RDC Mwesigye noted that candidates tend to use mostly boda-boda riders while carrying out their convoys as this puts their lives at risk of contracting the coronavirus.

He noted that whoever will be found in the convoy risks being arrested.

In his remarks Bazil Bataringaya Rwankwene the aspiring candidate for Kashari north appealed to the Boda Boda community to engage in government programs like “Emyoga” for poverty eradication.
