SON KILLS MOTHER AFTER RELEASING HIM FROM PRISON

Police in Mitooma district are hunting a 23 year old man suspected to have hacked his mother to death on 12th December 2022 few hours after returning from prison.

The suspect is Naboth Ahumuza known as lucky and the deceased is identified as Evas Batabarukire 59 both residents of Runazi 1, Bikungu Mutara Towncouncil.

Ahumuza the biological son now the deceased has been in prison on cases of malicious damage and dismantle of boundaries of his mother’s land.

It is noted that after reaching home, he again developed quarrels and cut the old woman on the neck killing her instantly and ran away.

The greater Bushenyi police spokesperson Martial Tumusiime confirmed the incident and said the hunt for the suspect is on.
