Security experts have revealed that the survival of Gen Katumba Wamala from an attempted assassination will to a large extent help in investigations.

Speaking to journalists, Fred Egesa, a security expert says Gen Katumba has a story to tell and is also aware of people who could be behind this attack.

One of the daughters of the General, Diana Katumba has since revealed that their father had informed the family about threats to his life but did not divulge details.

Yesterday, the UPDF spokesperson Brig Gen Flavia Byekwaso said they are considering phone call leaks relating to the attempted assassination of the General in their investigations.
